When we launched the Executive Alliance Thought Leadership Newsletter in July, 2022, our goal was to provide high level content that would be helpful to job hunters in need of answers, as well as hiring managers in need of key staff members. We wanted to build a community of like-minded people who get their job hunting and talent management advice from professionals in the job-hunting trenches. The truth is, however, we never dreamed it would attract so much attention, but we are so happy and thankful it has. I have provided some additional information below but the purpose of today’s article is to offer our THANKS!!!!!
Thanks to every one of our 20,000 LinkedIn Newsletter subscribers!
We are so proud to appear in your newsfeed every Monday!
In preparation for this article, we did some research and discovered the average LinkedIn Newsletter has less than 5,000 subscribers. With four times the average number of subscribers and approximately 400,000 article views per year, in less than 3 years we have built a colossal readership and reputation for accuracy and integrity.
Thanks to our valuable content, we have also built our company followers from 0 to a startling 90,000 in that same time period. Certainly, our topics are helpful to LinkedIn perusers, as they center on two major subject matter areas, “Finding a Job” and “Finding Talent.” While that does explain some of the column’s popularity on a platform like LinkedIn, there is another factor that has led to the column’s success.
The “other” factor is our perspective. We are recruiters, also known as head hunters. We spend a good portion of our days searching for and cultivating relationships with companies in need of staff. We spend the rest of our days searching for candidates and preparing them for interviews. In essence, a recruiter juggles multiple tasks throughout the day, acting as a liaison between candidates and companies and that puts us right in the hiring trenches on a daily basis.
With this in mind, what would be better than a team of executive recruiters providing advice to job hunters and hiring managers? To put it succinctly, we break down walls that prevent many people from connecting with hiring managers, just as job hunters must do. And since we do it to the exclusion of all else, and for a living, we excel at it.
We also write many articles about talent acquisition and retention, recognizing the tough job of the corporate recruiters and hiring managers we work with every day. We understand how companies recruit and we know every system out there. We share best hiring practices from the finest companies in the country, as often as we can.
Today’s article thanks our Thought Leadership team, our President, Gary Zelamsky, who supports our column, and You for helping us reach what we thought was unreachable, 20,000 subscribers and 400,000 article views. We are off next week due to the holiday so enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend…SP
